Bukit Gambang resort, covers more than 500 acres, a new resort destination with many tourist attractions and resorts accommodation in Kuantan, Pahang. The first stage of our development projects, the final stage, includes 560 units of the Caribbean Bay apartments and a large water amusement park in the east coast and probably in Malaysia too! We would like to invite caliber and motivated people to fill the following positions:

Responsibilities:

• Overall managment, operations & control of the accounting process & functions of the resorts, covering financial & managment reporting, budgeting & forecasting, legal matters, internal control, credit managment, billing, capex evaluation, financial analysis, cash & working capital management, tax, audit, corporate/statutory compliance.
• Develop, implement, maintain and improve accounting, management information and internal control systems.
• Provide functional guidance to the resorts managment team and effectively communicate with all levels to drive financial performance and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy (CPA/ACCA/CIMA) recognised by the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA).
• At least 2 years working experience in similar capacity in hotel industry.
• A team player, meticulous and possess good interpersonal skills with excellent leadership qualities and strong analytical mind.
• Possess high degree of professionalism and integrity.
• Strong communications skills, independent, resourceful and proactive individual.
